Gulbenkian Apoio à Criação Artística 2025 - RECIPIENT

I’m very proud and excited to share that I’ve been awarded the Gulbenkian Apoio à Criação Artística 2025 (Gulbenkian Artistic Creation).

This support will enable me to embark on a 10-month practice-based, experiential research project that takes me completely outside my usual comfort zone. It will stretch my work into new and unfamiliar territory, and I’m both nervous and excited to see where it leads.

I’m deeply grateful, not only for the financial support, which comes at an important moment in my career, but also for the trust and vote of confidence from an institution like Gulbenkian. What started as a wild, unlikely thought experiment has now developed into a fully formed project I get the chance to realise.

I won’t be able to share too much as it develops, but I look forward to revealing what I can along the way, and sharing the results with you next year.
